New Delhi. IPL 2025 auction is going to happen soon. There will be bidding on more than 500 players. Mohammed Shami was a part of Gujarat Titans last year. But the franchise did not include him in the team for IPL 2025. Sanjay Manjrekar had recently said that there will be a big bid for Mohammed Shami this year. Shami did not like his prediction.

Responding to Sanjay Manjrekar, Mohammed Shami wrote on his Insta post, “Baba ki Jai ho… save some knowledge for the future Sanjay ji. If anyone wants to know their future then meet Sanjay Sir. This post of Shami came just a few hours after Sanjay Manjrekar’s statement.

IND vs AUS: Jasprit Bumrah prepared the playing XI for the first test, said- We did not come with the burden of defeat…

Let us tell you that after making his debut in 2013, Shami has played in IPL for teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. This 34 year old cricketer has taken 127 wickets in 110 matches played so far. He played a brilliant role in the 2022 season and led the team to victory in the finals. He dismissed 28 batsmen in 17 matches and became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

But despite his good performance in two years, Gujarat did not retain Shami. However, the franchise will have the option to re-sign him through Right to Match. Gujarat Titans will enter the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah on November 24 and 25 with a sum of Rs 69 crore. His focus will be on including good players in the team. He retained five players this year which include players like Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia.
