MP News: Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya once again raised the problem of drug abuse in Indore with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. He demanded to give strict instructions to the police. Minister Vijayvargiya clearly said that drugs are smuggled from Pratapgarh.
He suggested that to stop drug addiction, the drug suppliers must first be tightened. The minister said that the police will have to be more active to prevent drug smuggling. He raised questions on the functioning of Indore Police in front of the Chief Minister.
Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the performance of Indore Police in action against drugs is not satisfactory. According to Vijayvargiya, the police is catching the thief, but the thief’s ‘mother’ is not being caught. The minister demanded formation of a special team from Bhopal to destroy the drug network. Enumerating the two major problems of Indore, he said that traffic and drug addiction have become challenges. He said that it is necessary to tighten the noose on drug addicts in Indore. Drug addicts are a threat to women’s safety.

The Minister stressed that there is a need for immediate action against drug abuse in Indore. Drug addiction can be controlled with a concrete strategy. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present in the program organized on Monday. He agreed with Minister Jaivargiya and assured to take concrete steps. Vijayvargiya announced that 25 flyover bridges will be built in Indore in three years. Construction of flyover bridge will give impetus to the development of the city. He said, "We do politics for development."
