Meerut ICU opened in District Hospital, serious patients will not be referred now ann

Meerut Hospital: There is a big news of relief for the patients coming to Meerut District Hospital in UP. From now on, patients coming here in critical condition will not have to be referred to another hospital but they can be treated in the district hospital. ICU facility has started in the district hospital. Due to which they will be able to get better treatment.

The wait for ICU in Meerut District Hospital is over after seven years. The building in which ICU was started was completed about 7 years ago. Vaccination campaign was conducted in this building during the Corona period. Crores of rupees were also spent on this. After which now the operation of ICU has started here completely. With the help of the staff of the district hospital, patients are now getting great benefit from it.

Now patients will not be referred
The district hospital is in the middle of the city. Patients come here not only from the city but also from the countryside and far-off areas. Sometimes serious patients also come. In such a situation, due to the absence of an ICU, doctors had to refer serious patients to other hospitals. Many times patients even died due to delay in treatment.

ICU opened in Meerut District Hospital, now serious patients will not have to be referred

At present, this ICU has started with 10 beds. A letter has also been sent to Lucknow for this that if 50 more staff members come, then the arrangements here will become even better. The more the staff, the better the arrangements will be. It is expected that Lucknow will take cognizance of the letter of the District Hospital Meerut administration and provide as many more staff as is needed.

Critical patients benefit from opening of ICU
After the opening of the ICU in the hospital, patients suffering from heart disease, coma, surgery patients or patients coming in emergency for any other disease are now being treated easily. A physician, an anesthesia, a resident doctor and other staff have been deployed in every shift. The ICU has ventilators, oxygen, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, suction machines and 24-hour oxygen supply.

District Hospital MS Dr Kaushalendra Singh said that patients are getting great benefit from the opening of ICU. We made a lot of efforts and finally we succeeded in starting the ICU. Now we are not referring serious patients to medical but giving treatment here. Now serious patients are also getting better treatment in the district hospital.
