Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas: In the presence of Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, a grand event of Mati ki Veer Padyatra was organized on Tribal Pride Day in Jashpur city of Chhattisgarh on Thursday. Addressing the Padyatra program, Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya praised the role of youth in the country’s independence and Corona period.

He said that we should take inspiration from the life of Lord Birsa Munda, who fought and sacrificed his life to liberate the motherland at the age of 25. 6 lakh youth sacrificed their lives in the fight for the country’s independence. He called upon the youth to take a pledge to fulfill the dream of a developed India and to come forward to promote social concerns. On this occasion, Dr. Mandaviya announced the construction of a fully equipped sports stadium in Jashpur Nagar on the request of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that it is a matter of good fortune for Chhattisgarh and Jashpur that this program is being organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. On this occasion, he appealed to the Prime Minister to announce that 15th November, the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, will be celebrated as Tribal Pride Day in the country. The Chief Minister said that Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan and PM Janman Abhiyan are being operated for the welfare of tribal communities. PM Modi launched Eklavya Vidyalayas to provide quality education to children of tribal communities and Van-Dhan Yojana to increase income. Free treatment facility has been started for tribal communities under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

The Chief Minister said that Naxalism is now counting its last breaths in Chhattisgarh. The roots of democracy are reaching remote areas. Even in the interior villages, basic infrastructure like roads, drinking water, electricity, education, health, communication are being provided under the Niyad Nella Naar scheme. We have resolved to build a developed Chhattisgarh to build a developed India. Munda Samaj President Shri Shankar Ram Barla also addressed the program.
