Due to gang war, eight-nine youths riding three bikes opened fire indiscriminately at the liquor shop located at Baliana turn on Sonipat Road at around 10 pm on Thursday night. Three youths of Bohar village died in this.
Among the dead is Amit Nandal alias Monu, brother of jailed Sumit alias Plotra, while two youths are seriously injured. The responsibility of the incident has been taken on social media in the name of Rahul Baba Gang, which is out on bail.
According to the police, there is a liquor shop at Baniyana turn, where the youths of Bohar were sitting at around 10 pm, when three bikes stopped outside the shop. There were seven-eight youths riding on the bikes. As soon as the youths arrived, they started firing indiscriminately.
30 year old Jaideep, 37 year old Amit alias Monu, 28 year old Vinay, 29 year old Anuj Rana and 32 year old Manoj, resident of Arya Nagar were injured due to the bullet shots. 10 to 12 rounds of bullets were fired.
The attackers fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the family members reached the spot and the injured were brought to the PGI Trauma Center, where doctors declared Jaideep, Amit and Vinay dead while Anuj and Manoj were injured after being shot in the legs.
