What did Ambadas Danve say in his letter?
According to ABP Majha, Danve wrote in the letter, “As a member of the House, I have always tried my best to follow the sanctity, rules, customs and traditions of the House. But after the incident caused by my negligence, you suspended me on July 1, 2024. Madam Speaker, as we know that our party leader has publicly apologized in this regard, it is my position to maintain the sanctity of the House. So I have no problem in apologizing to the House.”
Danve said, “The proceedings of the House are going on, in such a situation I want to raise many questions of the farmers, laborers, youth and mothers and sisters of Maharashtra in the House. The government will do justice on this issue, my suspension should not stop me from solving the problems of farmers, laborers, youth and mothers, so I request that my suspension be reconsidered.”
Shiv Sena (UBT) members in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on Wednesday urged Deputy Chairman Neelam Gore to end the suspension of Leader of Opposition Ambadas Danve. Shiv Sena (UBT) Legislative Council members said that Danve is ready to apologize for his words, so his suspension should be withdrawn. Danve was suspended from the proceedings of the House for five days for using abusive language against BJP MLA Prasad Lad during a discussion in the Legislative Council on Tuesday evening.
