Thane News: 38 children fell ill after having lunch at a private school near Thane city of Maharashtra on Tuesday (October 1). After this incident all the children were admitted to the hospital. The officers provided this information. According to doctors at the Civil Hospital of Kalwa city, these children aged between eight and 11 years were admitted after complaining of dizziness, nausea, headache and stomach pain after lunch.
Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) Additional Commissioner Sandeep Malvi told PTI news agency that all the children are out of danger and their treatment is going on. He confirmed that the children ate lunch in the school, after which their condition occurred. Another medical officer said, the students were served rice and bean curry in the meal.

Officials said, “Samples of the food served to the students have been taken by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials. At present it is not known whether the bean curry was stale or not?” According to officials, initially five students complained of uneasiness and gradually their number increased.
After this the school administration called an ambulance and took the students to the hospital. The family members of the children are also present in the hospital. Meanwhile, Dean of Kalwa Hospital, Anirudh Malgaonkar said, there is suspicion of food poisoning in the school food. The condition of all the students is stable. We will keep an eye on them 24 hours.
