Madhya Pradesh Weather Update: There is no hope of relief from heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh for two days. According to the Meteorological Department, the strong system of rain will remain active in Madhya Pradesh for two more days. Some relief is expected only after July 29. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert in 21 districts of the state today (Saturday, July 27).

According to the Meteorological Department, due to low pressure area and cyclonic circulation system in MP, heavy rains are continuing in the state. Today, heavy rains may occur in Raisen, Vidisha, Betul, Jabalpur, Balaghat of the state, while light to moderate rains may occur in 21 districts. On Friday, it rained in 18 districts of the state.

Alert in these districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains in Raisen, Vidisha, Harda, Betul, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Bhopal, Indore, Dhar, Khargone, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Rajgarh, Sehore, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Mandla and Seoni in the state today. While light to moderate rains may occur in the remaining cities.

More than normal rain in Bhopal-Gwalior
Talking about the five big cities of the state, Bhopal and Gwalior have received more rain than normal in the month of July. Bhopal was supposed to receive 16.30 inches of rain till now, but 20.58 inches of rain has already been received. Similarly, Gwalior was supposed to receive 10.54 inches of rain, but 13.56 inches of rain has already been received. Indore was supposed to receive 13.89 inches of rain, but only 12.79 inches of rain has been received so far.

Jabalpur was supposed to receive 17.72 inches of rain, but it received 16.65 inches of rain and Ujjain was supposed to receive 14.30 inches of rain, but only 11.78 inches of rain has been received here. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the Bargi Dam reservoir has been filled up to 53 percent. Its water level is currently 416 meters, which can rise by two meters in the next two days, in such a situation the gates of the Bargi Dam can be opened.
