Madhya Pradesh News: A shocking incident has come to light from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The bodies of three women and a girl were found in a well in Kopra village of Deori police station area on Saturday (September 13) morning. Two of these women were found hanging, while the bodies of another woman and a girl were found floating in the water.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and called the SDERF team to take out the four bodies from the well. After about one and a half hours of hard work, the bodies were taken out from the 35 feet deep well. Sagar SP Vikas Shahwal and ASP Lokesh Sinha also reached the spot as soon as the information about the incident was received. The police say that the cause of death will be clear only after the post-mortem report.
Police identified the dead
Deori SDOP Shashikant Sarayam said that the deceased were identified as 35-year-old Aarti wife of Karodi Lodhi, 29-year-old Bharti wife of Kishori Lodhi and 6-year-old Romika daughter of Kishori Lodhi along with 65-year-old Bhagbai wife of Mitth Lodhi. It is being told that Aarti and Bharti were sister-in-laws and daughters of Bhagbai. While Romika was Bhagbai’s granddaughter. Aarti and Bharti were living in their maternal home.
It is being told that last year a newly married woman committed suicide in Aarti and Bharti’s in-laws’ house. In the same case, the women and men of the house were accused and both their husbands are in jail. The deceased’s in-laws were constantly putting pressure in this matter. There was also a dispute on Friday late evening. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
