Madhya Pradesh ATS arrested Indian Mujahideen terrorist Faizan in Khandwa ANN

Madhya Pradesh News: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Madhya Pradesh Police has taken a major action. ATS has arrested a suspected terrorist from Khandwa border. This terrorist was plotting to attack the security forces, for which he had also done a recce. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has congratulated the police on this action. Bhopal IG ATS Dr. Ashish gave this information in a press conference held at Police Headquarters Bhopal.

Dr. Ashish informed that on Thursday (July 4) morning, Madhya Pradesh ATS arrested terrorist Faizan father Hanif Sheikh (34 years) associated with banned organization Indian Mujahideen IM from Khandwa from his residence Kanjar Mohalla, Saluja Colony Khandwa. A large amount of Jihadi literature related to IM, ISIS and other terrorist organizations, 4 mobile phones, 1 pistol and 5 live cartridges, membership forms of SIMI organization have been seized from the terrorist.

Jihadi literature, videos and photos of various terrorist organizations like Indian Mujahideen, ISIS, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba etc. have been found in the mobile phones and digital devices seized from his possession. The arrested terrorist has also been found to be in contact with members of the banned organization SIMI. The terrorist was propagating the ideology of IM/ISIS by posting jihadi posts related to Indian Mujahideen on his social media Facebook ID.

Along with this, it was also posting videos of Mujahideen training camps running in Pakistan, speeches of Masood Azhar, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and propagating the story of Kandahar plane hijacking and statements of Mullah Omar. Along with this, posts related to Ansar Ghazwa Tul Hind (AGH) were being circulated through social media.

Lone wolf attack was planned
Faizan had planned to carry out a lone wolf attack, for which security force personnel and their families were being monitored and reconnoitered. By carrying out such an attack, he wanted to prove himself to be a great Mujahid like Yasin Bhatkal of Indian Mujahideen and SIMI gang leader Abu Faisal. To execute his plan, he was collecting pistols and cartridges by contacting local illegal arms dealers and people from outside the state. Further interrogation is being done by taking the accused on police remand in the case. Information about his other associates is also being found out.
