Rituraj Gaikwad overtook Kohli in terms of most runs by scoring a fifty against Punjab Kings. CSK opener Ruturaj completed his fifty in 44 balls against Punjab, which is included in the list of slowest fifty in IPL history.
Rituraj Gaikwad scored 62 runs on 48 balls against Punjab Kings on Wednesday in IPL 2024. With this he increased his number of runs in the tournament to 509. This is the most runs in IPL 2024. Before this match, the record of most runs was in the name of Virat Kohli. Virat has scored 500 runs in 10 matches in this T20 league. Rituraj also left Virat behind in his 10th match itself.
