PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced this in Lahore. Naqvi has made all-rounder Agha Salman the vice-captain of the team. Rizwan will replace Babar Azam. Babar had resigned from the post of captain of limited overs cricket a few days ago.

30-year-old Babar Azam was made the captain again in March. Pakistan and Babar Azam’s own performance was very poor in the ODI World Cup played in India last year, after which Babar resigned from the captaincy.
