Bhushi Dam Accident: Five members of a family were swept away in the Bhusi Dam area in Lonavala, Maharashtra. Four people drowned in this accident, while the search for one is still on. During this time, 10 people were swept away in the strong current. Five of them managed to get out of the water current. State Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Anil Patil has reacted to the tragedy in Lonavala. Anil Patil said that these people happily enter the water and incidents happen.

According to ABP Majha, Anil Patil said that the incident took place in the Bhushi Dam area of ​​Lonavala. Liyaqat Ansari and Yunus Khan of Hadapsar and their family of 17 to 18 people had gone for a rain walk at a waterfall in a remote area behind Bhushi Dam in Lonavala police station area. Due to sudden increase in water velocity due to rain, a total of 10 members of their family were swept away in the strong current of water.

Patil further said that five of them managed to get out of the water flow but the remaining five were swept away by the water flow. Four people drowned and one is missing. The Chief Secretary will contact the District Magistrates at all places in the state. We are going to try to stop it completely at the prohibited places.

In this background, citizens have been appealed that tourists visiting Lonavala, Khandala during the rainy season should not risk their lives and the lives of their families by visiting unknown places. Tourists visiting Bhushi Dam area, Ghubad Lake, Tata Dam, Tungarli Dam, Rajmachi Point, Khandala, Kunegaon, Kurwande have been requested to cooperate with the police and administration. Lonavala City Police has appealed not to risk their lives and the lives of their families by visiting deserted places.
