Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Voting has been done for two phases in Uttar Pradesh, after which the electoral battle for the third phase has intensified. This time, Bharatiya Janata Party has set a target of winning all the 80 seats of UP, keeping in view every candidate has been fielded after intensive brainstorming. This time there are a total of 28 MPs in UP who are in the fray this time with the intention of winning the elections for the third time. These include the MP from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat and the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi Are included. Apart from them, Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, Mathura MP Hema Malini, Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary, Sanjeev Balyan, Kaushal Kishore and Union Minister Anupriya Patel are included.

The interesting thing is that out of these 28 MPs, except one Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal S, all the other 27 MPs are from Bharatiya Janata Party. Not only this, there are some of them who have already scored a hat-trick and this time they are in the field with the intention of hitting a four to win. Rajnath Singh’s name is included in these. Who has been MP continuously since 2009.

Rajnath Singh had won the elections from Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat in 2009, after this he won consecutive elections from Lucknow in the years 2014 and 2019 and once again he is contesting from this seat. Along with Rajnath Singh, Bansgaon MP Kamlesh Paswan has also been winning the last three elections continuously and is trying hard to win for the fourth time. The name of Dumariyaganj MP Jagdambika Pal is also included in this list. However, in 2009 he became MP from Congress.

Maneka Gandhi has gone ahead in this race, she has already scored a hat-trick of victories not once but twice. Maneka Gandhi scored a hat-trick by winning elections from Pilibhit in the years 1996, 1998, 1999. In these, she won the election once as a Janata Dal and twice as an independent candidate. After this, she scored a second hat-trick by winning elections from BJP in the years 2004, 2009, 2014, after this in 2019 also she became MP from Sultanpur and this time again she is contesting elections from Sultanpur.
