New Delhi. Cricketer Yusuf Pathan is also moving towards victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Yusuf Pathan, who was a member of the World Cup champion team, has taken a lead over his rivals from Congress and BJP. Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate Yusuf Pathan is contesting from Baharampur seat in West Bengal.
Yusuf Pathan is contesting from Baharampur seat against Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and BJP leader Nirmal Kumar Saha. According to the Election Commission website, till 1.30 pm, Yusuf Pathan had got 1 lakh 47 thousand votes. He has taken a lead of more than 10 thousand votes over Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. The BJP leader is at third place with about 1 lakh 11 thousand votes.
Talking about the results of Lok Sabha elections 2024, BJP is moving towards becoming the largest party by winning more than 240 seats. The NDA led by BJP is close to absolute majority. Congress has maintained a lead of about 95 seats. The Congress-led All India Alliance can win about 230 seats.
