Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Manoj Pandey, three-time MLA from Unchahar seat of Rae Bareli, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Although he became MLA on SP ticket. After joining BJP, Manoj Pandey has targeted Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav. He described SP as a small party and said that God should give wisdom to Akhilesh.
Manoj Pandey, while talking from Uttar Pradesh, said, “We know that Akhilesh Yadav cannot speak about us. Akhilesh ji is a party… even if it is a regional party or a small party, he is its leader… Okay, what did he say and for whom did he say it.. I will pray to God that even though he does not believe in God, I will pray to God to give him wisdom and guide him on the right path.

During this, he also talked about Rae Bareli elections and said that here we have 100 percent support for the Prime Minister of India. Our support is to Sanatan…we have come for Lord Ram. I had said earlier also that we are Sanatani and we cannot leave Lord Ram. We cannot free ourselves from serving the poor and weak Dalits.
Manoj Pandey targeted the Gandhi family and said, “He was on the ground only during the elections, but for five years after winning, he (Manoj Pandey) was also in the field for the problems of the people, in democracy, the biggest responsibility of all of us is to stay among the people. I feel that the Gandhi family was not with the people in their happiness and sorrow for five years, but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Were together.
Earlier, SP President Akhilesh Yadav had also targeted Manoj Pandey and said without naming him that the one who digs a pit for others falls in that pit himself. Manoj Pandey was one of the close leaders of Akhilesh Yadav. But, during the Rajya Sabha elections, he changed sides and voted in support of BJP. After which he came into the headlines.
After joining BJP, it is believed that SP may demand action against Manoj Pandey under anti-defection law. He had joined BJP without resigning from the party.
