Lok Sabha Election 2024 SP Made Shivshankar Singh Patel Candidate In Banda Chitrakoot

UP Lok Sabha Election 2024: Samajwadi Party has made former minister Shivshankar Singh Patel its candidate from Banda-Chitrakoot parliamentary constituency. SP has Lok Sabha Elections Before the announcement, the first list of candidates was released on Tuesday. Shivshankar Patel’s name is also included in the first list. There is a wave of happiness among the supporters after the announcement of Shivshankar Patel’s name on Banda-Chitrakoot seat of Bundalkhand. Shivshankar Patel had joined SP before the 2022 assembly elections.

Former minister Shivshankar Patel got Lok Sabha ticket

On the occasion of taking membership, Akhilesh Yadav had expressed hope that now SP will get strength in Bundelkhand. He had welcomed the supporters who had come with Shivshankar Patel. Shivshankar Singh Patel has represented Baberu of Banda district in the Assembly for three consecutive times. BJP had shown Shivshankar Patel the way out of the party for six years. After being expelled from BJP, he joined SP in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav. Shivshankar Patel’s joining SP from BJP was considered to be a part of the ongoing manipulation strategy for the Banda District Panchayat President.

SP named candidate from Banda-Chitrakoot parliamentary constituency

BJP leaders had demanded tickets for the family in the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections. BJP refused to give tickets for Panchayat elections to the families of ministers, MLAs and MPs. The announcement of giving tickets for Panchayat elections to common workers sparked protests in BJP. Shivshankar Patel also had hopes from BJP of getting Panchayat election ticket for his wife. BJP canceled the ticket in wife’s name. Rebel Shivshankar Patel fielded his wife as an independent candidate. BJP showed the door to Shivshankar Patel for six years. Now SP has placed its bet on expelled leader Shivshankar Patel from BJP.
