Two people were killed and three others injured when a rock fell from a hill near Zojila in Ganderbal district on Sunday. The injured have been sent to Srinagar for treatment.
An official said that on Sunday, an Alto car was hit by a huge boulder that fell from a hill in Pani Mata area near Zojila. In the accident, a woman and a child died on the spot, while three passengers were seriously injured. The injured were taken to Primary Health Center Sonamarg, from where they were referred to Srinagar. Ganderbal police is investigating the matter.
