Haryana Congress MLA Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter former MP Shruti Chaudhary joined BJP today. They joined the party in Delhi. During this, Haryana CM Naib Saini, former CM Manohar Lal and other senior BJP leaders were present.
Kiran and Shruti Chaudhary resigned from Congress on Tuesday. In her resignation letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Kiran wrote, “It is very unfortunate that the Congress in Haryana is being run as a personal fiefdom. There is no place for honest voices like mine in it. People like me are suppressed in a very planned manner. I am insulted and conspiracies are hatched from time to time. My efforts to represent my people and maintain values are being hindered.”
My goal has always been to serve the people of my state and my country. But now I am unable to work due to such obstacles. I am forced to look ahead to fulfill the aspirations of my people and workers. At the same time, Shruti Chaudhary also said in her resignation that the Congress party has unfortunately become one-person centric, who has compromised the interests of the party for his selfish interests.
