What did Sonu Sood say?
Actor Sonu Sood reacted to the Yogi government’s order to put up name posters of shop owners on food shops and carts on the route of Kanwar Yatra in UP. Actor Sonu Sood shared a post on social media platform X and wrote, “Every shop should have only one name plate and that is humanity.”
Users are linking Sonu Sood’s post to the order issued by the shopkeepers to install nameplates on the route of Kanwar Yatra in UP. Let us tell you that the UP government has made it mandatory to install ‘nameplates’ on food shops on the route of Kanwar Yatra. While the ruling party has called it a commendable step, the opposition is targeting it.
UP minister Kapil Dev Agarwal had said that people on the Kanwar Yatra route take water from Haridwar and Gomukh and travel 250-300 kms. For this, we had requested the administration, most of the people who run Dhaba, hotels in the name of Hindu deities are from the Muslim community. There should be a ban on those who run shops in the name of Hindu deities and sell non-veg there.
UP Congress state president Ajay Rai said that such orders are completely impractical. The feeling of brotherhood in the country and society will be spoiled. Distances will be created among people. This should be removed immediately.
