Let us tell you that in the meeting of India Alliance today, there was a consensus on making Hemant Soren the Chief Minister in place of Champai Soren. Now tonight Chief Minister Champai Soren and Hemant Soren can meet the Governor at Raj Bhavan. After this, CM Champai Soren can meet Governor CP Radhakrishna and submit his resignation. Along with this, Hemant Soren can stake claim to form the government.
Let us tell you that there are currently 10 ministers in the Jharkhand cabinet as against 12. Three ministers including Champai Soren were included in the Council of Ministers on February 2. After this, eight MLAs were included in the Council of Ministers on February 16. Out of these 11 ministers, Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam resigned from the post of minister on June 11 this year after being arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in money laundering.
