In protest against this, people took out a protest rally on Sunday and demonstrations were held at many places demanding strict action against the culprits. Also, in protest against the incident, a call was given by the Sanatan Dharma Sabha to keep the shops and business establishments of Reasi and all the surrounding areas closed on Monday.

On Sunday, demonstrations were held at many places in Reasi, Pouni, Mahore, Dharamari, Arnas in protest against the incident and tyres were burnt. People also took out a protest rally. People said that their sentiments have been hurt by the incident. Whoever has committed this act should be identified and strict action should be taken against him.

In Reasi, a protest rally was taken out from Janana Park, which went through the entire city. During this, slogans of Har Har Mahadev were raised. After this, tyres were burnt outside the Tehsildar office at the bus stand. Police force was also present during the protest at all places. The police team kept trying to convince the people, but people kept warning to protest until action was taken against the culprits.

At the same time, a meeting of Sanatan Dharma Sabha was held late in the evening. People from all Hindu organizations and local shopkeepers participated in it. Everyone unanimously condemned the incident. It was said that every possible action should be taken against the culprits. It was decided in the meeting that shops and all types of business establishments in Reasi and all the surrounding areas will remain closed on Monday in protest against the incident. Along with this, there will also be a road blockade. No vehicle will be allowed to run. The call for the bandh was given by Sanatan Dharma Sabha. All Hindu organizations were appealed to participate in it.
