Jammu Kashmir Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Lok Sabha elections 2024 are now in their final stage. Today, on Saturday (25 May), voting is being held on one seat of Jammu and Kashmir in the sixth phase. Voting is being held on the Anantnag-Rajouri seat of Jammu and Kashmir. 20 candidates including former CM and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference’s Mian Altaf are in the fray from Anantnag-Rajouri constituency. While BJP has not fielded any candidate on Anantnag-Rajouri seat.

Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina cast his vote at a polling station in Rajouri. He said that ‘There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the entire Jammu and Kashmir regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha Elections It is going on like a festival. 40 percent voting took place in Srinagar parliamentary seat, while 60 percent voting took place in Baramulla of North Kashmir and today voting is also taking place in Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary seat. Voting is taking place in large numbers since morning, this is the victory of our democracy.

Mehbooba Mufti made this allegation
Meanwhile, in Anantnag, PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti has made a big allegation against BJP. She said, “Why are you harassing my workers? My workers have started being detained since last night. Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji had started free and fair elections.” Let us tell you that voting is being held today on 25 May instead of 7 May in Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat of Jammu and Kashmir.

At the same time, officials said that no stone has been left unturned to prepare for the elections. To ensure free, fair and peaceful voting, multi-level security arrangements have been made in the constituency spread across 18 assembly constituencies in Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian in south Kashmir and Rajouri and Poonch districts in the south of Pir Panjal.
