Jalandhar Police Action On Ankush Bhaya Gang: The police has achieved great success in curbing crime in Punjab. Jalandhar police has arrested 7 criminals of Ankush Bhaiya gang. Action has also been taken against a police constable in this case. The police constable is accused of leaking sensitive information. The police have recovered a large number of weapons and cartridges from the criminals.
Punjab Police DGP said, “Jalandhar Rural Police has arrested 7 operatives of Ankush Bhaya gang, including kingpin Ankush Sabharwal, revealing their links with US-based criminals Goldy Brar, Vikram Brar and Ravi Balachoria.”

Conspiracy to attack in Hoshiarpur, Mehatpur and Nakodar
Giving information, a senior officer of Punjab Police further said that this module had conspired to attack rival criminals at different hideouts in Hoshiarpur, Mehatpur and Nakodar. Foreign-based organized criminal Lovepreet alias Ladi has also been found to be in contact with this module.
Several weapons and a luxury car recovered
The DGP further said, “A police constable has been arrested for leaking sensitive information and providing logistical support to the criminals. 4 illegal pistols, 7 live cartridges, 1000 Alprazolam tablets and a luxury car have been recovered. Investigation is underway to bust their extensive network locally and internationally.”
