Jagdalpur Crime News: Police have arrested 6 accused in the murder case of two brothers in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, last Tuesday. These accused had conspired to kill both the brothers over a land dispute and then, finding an opportunity, killed them by attacking them with a sharp weapon in their own field.
Here, within 24 hours of the incident, the police investigated the case and arrested 6 accused. The accused told that they committed this incident due to mutual enmity in the land dispute and killed the deceased Yogesh Kashyap and Chandrashekhar Kashyap by attacking them lethally.

The accused attacked both the brothers with arrows, bows, axes, and sticks and left them bleeding, due to which they died on the spot. However, 6 accused are still absconding in this murder case, whom the police have claimed to arrest soon.
About 12 people killed both the brothers
In fact, the bodies of two brothers were found in a blood-soaked condition in their own field in Irikpal village under the Kotwali police station area adjoining the city, after which panic spread in the entire area, after getting the information, the Kotwali police team immediately reached the spot, and both the deceased were identified as real brothers Yogesh Kashyap and Chandrashekhar Kashyap, after getting information about the incident, the police team started investigating and during the investigation it came to light that both the brothers were murdered in a planned manner due to land dispute.
There was a constant state of dispute
Station House Officer of Kotwali Police Station, Suresh Jangde, told that the deceased’s sister Jyoti Kashyap filed a report that her father Shambhu Nath Kashyap had bought land from Paro, Vishnu, Chainsingh and Virendra in 1993, after which they have been working on the same land for the last 30 years. A few years ago, Chainsingh, Vishnu and some of their associates started quarreling with her family, saying that the land is theirs and they have not sold it. Situations of quarrel kept arising continuously.

Last Tuesday, both the brothers Yogesh Kashyap and Chandrashekhar were working in their field along with Hemraj and Balveer who worked in their field, and while returning from their field, some people in the number of 10 to 12, with bows, battle-axes, and axes in their hands, started beating Yogesh Kashyap and Chandrashekhar and attacked them with sharp-edged weapons on their neck, not only that, all the people also attacked their head along with their neck, due to which both the brothers died on the spot.

Here the police said that after getting information about the incident, on the basis of suspicion from different areas, the accused Chain Singh Gagde, Jitendra alias Tulsiram Nag, Maniram Nag, Vishnu Gagda, Vasudev Gagda, Mansingh Gagde were identified and questioned about the incident, after which the accused told that they sat with their friends and drank alcohol and after that all of them talked among themselves and hatched a conspiracy to murder both the brothers in a planned manner. After that Yogesh Kashyap and Chandrashekhar were murdered.
At present, the accused are being sent to the court on judicial remand and other absconding accused are being traced. The police station in-charge has claimed that other accused will be arrested soon.
