Israeli car enters West Bank near Jerusalem and Ramallah Palestinian mob burns

Israel–Hamas War: Since the war between Israel and Hamas, the people of Palestine and Israel have become enemies of each other’s lives. On Sunday (30 June), an Israeli car accidentally entered the Palestinian city of Kalandiya, located between Jerusalem and Ramallah in the West Bank, after which the crowd gathered there set the car on fire.

The crowd pelted stones on the car

A video of this incident has surfaced on social media, in which a crowd of Palestinians can be seen chasing an Israeli car and pelting stones at it. When the crowd chased the Israeli car, it collided with the crossing at the Kalandia checkpoint.

The injured driver was admitted to the hospital

While trying to escape the crowd, the driver of the Israeli car lost control and suffered minor injuries. According to the Times of Israel report, the car driver has been rescued and admitted to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Hospital. The West Bank, which has been under Israeli occupation since 1967, is witnessing a lot of reports of violence these days.

Cases of violence increased in the West Bank

The Jenin camp in the West Bank is frequently raided by the Israeli army as part of security operations. Last week, during an operation by the Israeli army in Jenin, one soldier was reported dead and another seriously injured.

Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, there have been several reports of deaths from the West Bank. According to a report in The Jerusalem Post, on June 22, a 60-year-old Israeli citizen drove into Qalqilya in his car, where he was immediately shot by locals. After this, the Israeli security forces (IDF) closed down entry to Qalqilya and immediately began raids and arrests.
