23 Israeli hostages died
Hamas reported that more than 60 hostages were missing after Israeli airstrikes. At the same time, Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Is al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said on Hamas’s Telegram account that after the attack, the bodies of 23 Israeli hostages were found trapped in the debris.
Arab countries put forward the demand for immediate ceasefire in front of Blinken
During US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s discussion with Arab leaders in Amman on measures to stop the conflict, Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani raised the demand to stop the ongoing bombing by Israel and immediately implement a ceasefire. He told Blinken that efforts to mediate the release of hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip are being complicated by the bombing. Foreign ministers of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Egypt were also present in the meeting. Before the meeting, Jordan said Arab leaders wanted an immediate ceasefire. Apart from this, he talked about providing immediate humanitarian aid to the conflict-hit area and stopping actions that harm the security of the area.
