The enemy’s cruise missile has been shot down with an air-to-air missile launched from the fighter jet F-35I Adir. Whose video was shared by the Israeli Defense Force on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). In the video, the cruise missile is shown chasing an F-35i from the Adir formation.
F-35 intercepted cruise missile
Posting the video, the Israeli Defense Force said that a cruise missile launched from the southeast towards Israeli airspace was successfully intercepted by an F-35i fighter jet. On the same day, the IAF’s Arrow Aerial Defense System intercepted a surface-to-surface missile in the Red Sea area. Military expert and global open-source intelligence company Janes said that this is the first attack carried out by such F-35I.
