Iran’s military on Tuesday carried out air strikes on two major bases of Baloch militant group Jaish al-Adl in Pakistan. A day after air strikes in Iraq and Syria, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards entered Pakistan and carried out air strikes. Iran’s state media reported that two major headquarters (bases) of the Baloch militant group were attacked with missiles and drones and destroyed.
According to media reports, the Iranian Army attacked the area of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, where Jaish-al-Adal had its biggest headquarters. However, information about casualties in Iran’s attack has not been revealed yet. The Baloch militant group is accused of targeting security forces in the area of Iran bordering Pakistan.
According to the report, Jaish al-Adl was formed in 2012, which Iran considers a terrorist organization. It is a Sunni terrorist group based in Sistan-Baluchistan, the south-eastern province of Iran. Jaish al-Adl has carried out several attacks on Iranian security forces over the past few years. In December, Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility for an attack on a police post in Sistan-Baluchestan, which killed 11 policemen.
Iraq-Syria also attacked a day before
A day earlier, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards attacked Israel’s Mossad agency near the northern Iraqi city of Erbil with ballistic missiles. The Guards had also taken action against Islamic State terrorists in Syria. Iran also used ballistic missiles to destroy the meetings of terrorist group IS. Four people died due to the attack, while several people were injured, who have been taken to a nearby hospital.

According to media reports, several explosions also took place near the US Consulate in Erbil city of Iraq. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard itself took responsibility for the attacks. According to sources, the bombing was extremely violent, with eight locations near the US Consulate being targeted. If some sources are to be believed, three drones were also shot down by Iraq near Erbil Airport. The passengers were stopped at Aribal airport itself.
