Iran Israel War : Iran has directly threatened Israel with a nuclear bomb, which is being discussed everywhere. Iran says that if its existence is threatened then it will change its nuclear doctrine. Kamal Kharraji, advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gave this statement on Thursday. He said, we have no decision to build a nuclear bomb, but if Iran’s existence is threatened then there will be no option but to change our military doctrine. According to Iranian media Student News Network, Kharraji said that in case of an attack on the nuclear facility of the Zionist regime, our resistance capability will change. Iran has already indicated that it has the capability to make such weapons. Iran has long claimed to have a peaceful nuclear program. In fact, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had issued a fatwa in the 2000s banning the making of nuclear weapons, hence there are talks of a change in the nuclear doctrine.
‘It is forbidden to use nuclear bombs’
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that making and storing a nuclear bomb is wrong and using it is haraam. We have nuclear technology, but Iran has avoided it. Iran’s then intelligence minister said in 2021 that Western pressure could motivate Tehran to make nuclear weapons. Iran can obtain uranium up to 60 percent purity, while weapons-grade uranium is enriched up to 90 percent.
That’s why there is dispute going on between the two countries
According to a criterion of the International Atomic Energy Agency, if the existing nuclear material is further enriched then it will be enough for 2 nuclear weapons. This warning has been given by Iran when both the countries came face to face in April itself. In fact, in the beginning of April, Iran attacked Israel with 300 missiles and drones. Iran said that Israel attacked its embassy, in which many people lost their lives, in response to which missiles were fired at Israel, since then there is a continuous dispute between the two countries.
