Pakistan Condemns Iran Missile Attack: On Tuesday (January 16), Iran fired a missile at the bases of terrorist group Jaish al-Adl in Pakistan. On this, Pakistan has claimed that two children have died and three others have been injured in the attack. After this attack, Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued an official statement saying that this is a violation of our airspace.
According to the report of Iran’s government news agency IRNA, missiles and drones were used for the attack in Pakistan. Iran’s English news channel said that this attack was carried out by Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard. However, Pakistan reacted to the attack and said that this violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty is completely unacceptable. This can have serious consequences.
Pakistan complained to Iranian Foreign Ministry
Pakistan lodged a strong protest against the Iranian attack. He has expressed his views before the concerned senior official of the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran. Apart from this, an Iranian diplomat was called to the Foreign Ministry for violating Pakistan’s sovereignty.
A Pakistani official said that terrorism is a common threat to all the countries in the region, for which we should work together. However, such attacks do not provide evidence of being a good neighbor. Due to this, bilateral trust can be seriously weakened.
Jaish al-Adl group confirmed the attack
Jaish al-Adl group has confirmed the Iranian attack. He informed that Iran had attacked with the help of missiles and drones. Iran targeted the houses of several extremists of Jaish al-Adl organization in the mountains of Balochistan. This attack was carried out using at least six drones and several missiles.
Two houses of Jaish al-Adl fighters were destroyed in this attack. His family members became casualties. Two minor children lost their lives in this attack. Two women along with a teenage girl were injured.
