Apart from this, they are also asked to take a power nap of 20 minutes a day. Wakefit said that more than 10 lakh applications have been received in the three seasons of this program. Out of this, 51 interns were selected. A total of Rs 63 lakh has been paid as stipend. This year’s Wakefit’s Great Indian Sleep Scorecard found that nearly 50 percent of people in the country wake up feeling tired. The main reasons behind this are excessive work hours, poor environment for sleep, stress and lack of physical activity. Patil said that sleep requires discipline. He says, “To maintain a good score, you have to maintain consistency in your sleep and wake times. This means avoiding watching television or social media late at night. These habits are difficult to give up but are beneficial. ”

He told that Corona had a big impact on his daily routine. Apart from this, due to heavy work load as an auditor, his sleep had become irregular. Patil said, “This internship has taught me to sleep in a disciplined manner. Improving my sleep score was stressful. On the day of finals, I just focused on staying calm.”
