New DelhiProposing on the field is not a new thing, it has often been seen on different fields that players have expressed their love for their partner. The audience and fans also do not lag behind in proposing. At the stand, couples who express their love for each other are often caught on camera. But during a practice session, if a player sits on his knees and gives something to his teammate, you will laugh.
A strange incident was witnessed during the intensive practice session of Team India in Perth. You too will not be able to stop laughing after seeing the picture. It so happened that Sarfaraz Khan was batting brilliantly in the nets and the echo of the ball hitting his bat was reaching everyone’s ears. When Sarfaraz came out after batting for 35 minutes, Shubman Gill asked him for the bat. Then what happened after taking off the pads, Sarfaraz did something which made everyone laugh.
Sarfaraz gave a gift for Shubman Gill
Sarfaraz Khan, who is known for his joviality and fun, showed an example of it in Perth. When Sarfaraz came to give the bat to Gill, he sat down on his knees and from a distance it looked as if he was proposing to Shubman Gill. Actually, only Sarfaraz Khan can think of this unique way of giving a gift to Gill. Sitting on his knees, Sarfaraz gave his favorite bat to Gill. Generally, batsmen do not give their bats to anyone, but the friendship between the two is such that just don’t ask.
Doubt about Sarfaraz’s form
Even though Sarfaraz has batted brilliantly in the nets, his current form may keep him out of the first test. Sarfaraz made his debut against England in the Rajkot Test. So far, he has six Tests to his name and in these he has scored 371 runs at an average of 37.10. Sarfaraz has scored one century and three half-centuries in the Test format. In the recent series against New Zealand, he scored an amazing century in the Bangalore Test. But after this, he succumbed to spin in the matches played in Pune and Mumbai. In front of New Zealand, he could not even cross double figures in four out of six innings. Now Australia tour may prove to be do or die for them.
