Indore: 17 year old daughter wants to donate liver to Ailing Farmer Petition in MP High Court

Madhya Pradesh High Court News: A 42-year-old farmer from Madhya Pradesh is suffering from a serious liver disease. The farmer’s 17-year-old daughter wants to donate her liver to him, but according to the rules this is not possible. In such a situation, the farmer has filed a petition in the Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court and sought approval. In this case, the Indore Bench has summoned a report from the private hospital.

In the petition filed by farmer Shivnarayan Batham, a demand has been made that his 17-year-old daughter should be allowed to donate her liver. The farmer’s lawyer Nilesh Manore has informed that in this case, Justice Binod Kumar Dwivedi has asked the private hospital to submit a report in two days. This is the same hospital where the farmer’s serious illness was diagnosed and he was admitted and treated.

Shivnarayan has been suffering from a serious illness for 6 years
The next hearing in the case will be on June 20. Advocate Nilesh Manore said that his client farmer Shivnarayan Batham has been suffering from a serious liver disease for the last 6 years. He has five daughters, the eldest of whom, Preeti, is 17 years old. She wants to donate her liver to her father.

If the transplant is not done soon, life can be lost
Shivnarayan Batham is a farmer from rural Indore. His family includes his wife who is diabetic. He has an 80-year-old father and five daughters. In such a situation, apart from his 17-year-old daughter, there is no other eligible person to donate liver to him. At the same time, doctors have clearly said that if Shivnarayan’s liver transplant is not done soon, his life may be in danger.
