The Indian cricket team’s return home has been delayed by a few days due to bad weather in Barbados. Rohit Sharma’s team won the T20 World Cup 2024 title by defeating South Africa in the final on Saturday and was scheduled to leave for India on Sunday, but had to stay there due to Hurricane Beryl. The threat of a storm in Barbados forced the government to close the airport and all flights were canceled. Earlier it was reported that Team India would return home on Wednesday. However, now on Wednesday, citing several reports, it has been reported that the Indian team’s departure from Barbados may be further delayed. The players are expected to reach Delhi on Thursday morning.
