The Indian Foreign Ministry has given its statement on the recent issues arising from Canada, America, Bangladesh to West Bengal and Kerala. Recently, two people have been arrested in Canada for threatening Prime Minister Justin Trudeau online. Regarding this, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that he is aware of this.

‘We hope that action will be taken against anti-India elements in Canada’
Randhir Jaiswal further said, ‘When a democratic country adopts different standards to measure the rule of law and freedom of expression, it exposes the double standards of that country. We hope that action will be taken against anti-India elements in Canada. Anti-India elements in Canada have repeatedly tried to threaten Indian leaders, institutions, airlines and diplomats with violence. We want the same level of strict action to be taken on the threats we receive.’
‘We protest against the demolition of Hindu temple in Canada’
Recently, a Hindu temple was targeted in Edmonton city of Canada. The Swaminarayan temple located in the city was vandalized. Regarding this, the Indian Foreign Ministry says that this matter has been strongly raised in front of the Canadian authorities. Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘The Canadian Embassy in Delhi and the Indian Embassy in Ottawa have been talked to about this. We strongly oppose the vandalism in the temple. We hope that strict action will be taken by the local authorities against such miscreants. Cases of demolition of temples are constantly coming to light in Canada. Due to no strict action against the miscreants, their courage is increasing. Strict legal action is required against such people.
