India ranks sixth in the world in terms of providing jobs;  Maximum 36 percent appointment in North India

India ranks sixth in the world in terms of job creation scenario in the July-September 2024 quarter. 30 percent of the country’s companies can increase their workforce in the next three months. According to the ManpowerGroup global survey report, India is eight points above the global average for job creation in the July-September period. Costa Rica ranks first in the world in terms of recruitment.

Here 35 percent companies can increase the number of their employees. Switzerland is second with 34 percent, Guatemala is third with 32 percent, Mexico is fourth with 32 percent and South Africa is fifth with 31 percent. This survey is based on recruitment information received from 3,150 companies of 42 countries.

Impact of recession on IT sector

Sandeep Gulati, Managing Director, India-West Asia, ManpowerGroup, said, the global slowdown has been affecting India’s IT sector for a long time. However, investors’ interest in the real estate sector has increased. There has been a capital inflow of $ 1.1 billion in the residential sector.

North India has the highest recruitment at 36%

According to the survey, North India has the highest recruitment potential at 36 per cent. 31 per cent companies in West India, 30 per cent in South India and 21 per cent in East India have expressed interest in hiring. Contrary to popular belief, about 68 per cent companies are planning to increase the number of employees in the next two years due to the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. This will be led by the communication services sector, financial, real estate, industry and information technology sectors.
