India Canada Tension Khalistani Supporters Create Ruckus In Front Of Indian Embassy Officials In Canada

India Canada Tension: Indian Consulate officials were issuing survival certificates to Indian pensioners at the Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara in British Columbia province of Canada. Some Khalistan supporters created a ruckus in protest against this. The local police saved the embassy officials from the crowd and sent them to a safe place.

Pro-Khalistani organization Sikh for Justice has warned that in the coming times, similar obstacles will be created in the work of the Indian Embassy. Sikh for Justice has threatened through many posters that the Indian Embassy should not organize any such camps otherwise they will shut it down.

It is noteworthy that on November 18 and 19, the Indian Consulate is going to set up a camp again in the Greater Toronto area. In this, one camp will be organized in Gurudwara and the other camp will be organized in the temple. Similarly, a camp will also be organized in the Vancouver Metro area on November 19. Apart from this, the Indian Consulate will organize a camp in a school in Saskatoon province.

Thousands of elderly people are getting facilities

According to Hindustan Times, a senior Indian official in Canada said, “During the camp, 10 to 20 protesters reached the Gurudwara and started abusing several Indians standing there.” He said, “We did not face any problem in setting up the camp. There was adequate police presence there.”

Friends of India President Maninder Singh Gill has strongly condemned the harassment of Indian officials. He said, “Indian authorities have made 635 life certificates for the pension of the elderly. These people may have once been working in different departments of India and are now living in Canada as immigrants.” He said, “If these officials do not set up camps, the elderly will face a lot of trouble. They will have to go to Vancouver to get the certificates.”
