New Delhi. The last i.e. fifth T20 match between India and Zimbabwe was played in Harare on 14th July. Team India registered a spectacular victory in this match. India won the series 4-1. Zimbabwe won only the first match. After this, they had to face defeat in 4 consecutive matches. Sikandar Raza said after the match that he will leave for The Hundred in a few days.

Sikandar Raza said after the match, “I thought Blessing bowled well throughout the series. We are below average in terms of batting. The biggest thing for me is our performance in the field. We can improve on this. Richie was not fit in the beginning. His being fit is good for us. Richie and Blessing complement each other. It was a pleasure to see him. I need to manage my workload. I will go back to playing domestic cricket. I am still available for Test match cricket. In a few days I will leave for The Hundred.”

Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, the Indian team scored 167 runs in 20 overs. Zimbabwe needed 168 runs to win. But they could score only 125 runs. Sanju Samson played an innings of 58 runs in 45 balls in this match. He also hit 4 sixes and 1 four in his innings. Apart from Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag scored 22, Shivam Dubey scored 26, Rinku scored 11 runs.
