New Delhi. The Indian team has always dominated the Women’s Asia Cup. India has won the trophy 7 times out of the 8 seasons played so far. After starting with a strong win against Pakistan, India scored a record-breaking score against UAE. After losing the toss, captain Harmanpreet Kaur’s fifty and Richa Ghosh’s explosive batting made the fans happy. Richa became the first wicketkeeper to score a fifty in the Women’s Asia Cup, while India became the first team to score more than 200 runs.
In the Women’s Asia Cup against UAE, the Indian team batted explosively and scored a huge score of 201 runs for 5 wickets. UAE captain Isha Ojha won the toss and chose to bowl first. After losing the first three wickets, captain Harmanpreet Kaur took charge of India but the real game was played by wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh in the end. She created history by scoring the first fifty of her T20 International career.
