The Indian women’s team won the only Test match played against South Africa in Chennai by 10 wickets on Monday. India declared the first innings at 603 runs. In reply, South Africa was all out at 266 runs in the first innings and had to play follow-on. South Africa scored 373 runs in the second innings and took a marginal lead of 36 runs. Chasing the target, India won in just 9.2 overs with 10 wickets to spare. Shubha Satish remained unbeaten at 13 and Shefali Verma at 24.
