New Delhi. Pakistan Cricket Board is once again trying to take a tough stand against the Indian Cricket Board. Next year ICC Champions Trophy is to be played in Pakistan. BCCI has made it clear in many previous tournaments that Team India will not go to Pakistan to play any match. Angered by this, PCB may boycott the ICC T20 World Cup co-hosted by India.

Like every time, once again Pakistan is trying its best to invite the Indian team to play here. Pakistan is fully prepared to host the Champions Trophy 2025. This tournament is to be organized between 19 February and 9 March. If reports are to be believed, the first match can be played in Karachi. The final match of this ICC mega tournament between 8 teams will be played in Lahore on 9 March.

Nothing has been said officially by the BCCI but the indication is clear that the Indian team will not go to Pakistan to play. The Indian team does not go to Pakistan due to the bad political relations between the two countries. Last time, after creating a ruckus over the Asia Cup, Team India went to play in Sri Lanka under the hybrid model. This time the Indian team will play all the matches of the Champions Trophy in Dubai.

Pakistan will boycott the 2026 T20 World Cup
A report published in Geo News, an Urdu channel of Pakistan, claims that PCB can take action if India does not come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. If the Indian team does not go to Pakistan, then Pakistan can also boycott the 2026 T20 World Cup. India and Sri Lanka have been given the joint hosting of this tournament.

According to the report, the Pakistan Cricket Board had to lose most of the matches of hosting the Asia Cup last year. It wants to organize all the matches of the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi may attend the ICC annual meeting to be held between July 19 and July 22 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
