The authenticity of IAS Pooja Khedkar’s medical certificates will be investigated
Maharashtra cadre IAS officer Pooja Khedkar is accused of passing the Union Public Service Commission examination through fraudulent means. In which she claimed to have several physical problems. IAS Pooja Khedkar had submitted several medical certificates to the Union Public Service Commission, in one of which she had mentioned a problem in her eyes, due to which she claimed to have some difficulty in seeing. The IAS officer had described herself as belonging to the OBC non-creamy layer category, but after the revelations about her property and her father’s property, doubts are being expressed on this claim of hers as well.
Committee formed to investigate the validity of Pooja Khedkar’s candidature
The trainee IAS officer is accused of misusing her power and abusing her privileges during her posting in Pune. The Pune District Magistrate had also complained about this by writing a letter to the Chief Secretary. After this, IAS Pooja Khedkar was transferred from Pune to Washim. The Divyang Department official has written a letter to Pune Police and Pune District Magistrate and appealed to check the authenticity of the medical certificates of IAS Pooja Khedkar.
Pune Police officer said that we have received a letter from a top official of the Divyang Department. In this letter, he has demanded to check the veracity of Pooja Khedkar’s medical certificates. We will check the facts of the certificates and also find out which hospital, which doctor confirmed the veracity of these certificates. Last week, the Central Government has also constituted a committee, which will investigate the candidature of IAS Pooja Khedkar and submit its report in two weeks. The government said that this investigation will be done by an officer of Additional Secretary rank. It is worth mentioning that in a criminal case, Pune Police has also registered a case against the parents of IAS Pooja Khedkar. Police is searching for both of them.
