Hyundai Inster EV Micro SUV Revealed Range 350km Know Features

Korean automobile company Hyundai has introduced the Hyundai Inster EV micro SUV. Inster will be Hyundai’s entry level electric car and this sub-compact micro SUV is based on the modified platform of Casper. Inster is quite similar to the 3.5-meter long ICE Casper. Hyundai Inster EV Design

If we talk about the design Hyundai The Inster EV gets advanced-retro styling with circular LED DRLs with pixel-themed turn indicators in a black bar. In between the DRLs is a black rectangular piece that houses the front camera, ADAS sensors and the charging port. The Inster EV measures 3,825 mm in length, 1,610 mm in width and 1,575 mm in height, wheelbase 2,580 mm, boot space 280 litres. It gets chunky wheel arches with 4-spoke alloy wheels. This includes pillar-mounted rear door handles, roof railings and multiple cuts along the crease that give it a sharp look. At the rear, the design is bold with pixel-themed taillights with the Hyundai logo. The wheel arches extend to the bumper that houses circular taillamps and parking lights. Other features include an integrated spoiler with diffusor, shark fin antenna and high-mounted stop lamp.

Talking about the interiors, it gets a retro design with air-con vents. Other features include twin 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, automatic climate control, wireless charger, 3-spoke steering wheel with steering column-mounted drive mode selector, ventilated seats, 360-degree surround camera, ambient lighting, blind spot monitor, sunroof, ADAS suite and much more.

Hyundai Inster EV Range & Power

Hyundai’s AccordingTalking about the electric motor and battery, Inster will have the option of two battery packs 42kWh and 49kWh. It will have a single electric motor which generates 95bhp of power for the smaller pack and 113bhp of power and 147Nm of torque with the larger battery pack. Both battery packs use nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) chemistry. Inster gets a heat pump and 85kW (DC) charging capacity as standard.

In terms of range, 42kWh provides a range of about 300 km in a single charge. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 11.7 seconds. The top speed is 140 kmph. At the same time, 49kWh provides a range of 350 km in a single charge. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 10.6 seconds. Its top speed is 150 kmph. The company has not yet given any information about the launch in India.
