At the launch event, we got a chance to spend some time with Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. How did we like these phones at first glance? Let us tell you.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro design
The new J series smartphones come with a full metal unibody design and have a slim profile. Due to the large display, it is certain that using them with one hand will not be easy. This is what we felt in the limited time we spent with the handset. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max And Galaxy J7 Pro The thickness is 8.1 and 7.8 millimeters respectively.
Galaxy J7 Max has a Smart Glow feature. It is present around the rear camera. This smart glow present around the edge of the camera will alert you when a notification comes.
Samsung is promoting the flat back camera in the Galaxy J7 Pro. We also like the new “U” designed antenna band on this phone. It adds to the aesthetics of the handset.
In the new J-series dual SIM handsets, you will get a separate slot for microSD card. This is a good feature at this price.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro specifications
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a 5.7 inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) TFT display. It has 4 GB RAM with 1.6 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor. The inbuilt storage is 32 GB. The battery is 3300 mAh. Along with 4G, there will also be support for VoLTE.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro will have a 5.5 inch full-HD (1920x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is equipped with 2.5D curved glass design. It has a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. RAM is 3 GB and inbuilt storage is 64 GB. If the user wants, he can also use a microSD card up to 128 GB. The battery is 3600 mAh. It has received IP54 certification, which means it is completely safe from water splashes.
Both phones have 13 megapixel rear and front cameras. The aperture of the front sensor is F/1.7 and the aperture of the rear is F/1.9. Flash is provided with both sensors.
The Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro run the company’s own skin based on Android Nougat. We have to admit that Samsung has been constantly improving the UX since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6. This South Korean company has also introduced Samsung Pay Mini feature. This is a light version of Samsung Pay. Galaxy J7 Max will have Samsung Pay Mini which runs on the Internet, that is, it will work for online payments. Talking about the Samsung Pay Mini feature, Walia said that it has almost all the features of Samsung Pay. Only the “tap and pay” capability is missing, which makes offline payments possible. It has been launched for handsets like Samsung Galaxy J7 Max that do not have the appropriate hardware for the Samsung Pay payment service.
At the event, the company representative demonstrated the use of the Samsung Pay Mini feature. It was easy to use. After getting the Galaxy J7 Max, we will be able to use this feature more.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max performance and camera
In the limited time we spent with the handsets, we found that the Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max ran smoothly. There was no problem in switching from one app to another. The smartphones were responding well to touch inputs. However, we will be able to say something in detail about the performance of the phones only after the review.
Samsung is also praising the camera of Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro. In the limited time we spent with the devices, we found that the cameras of the handsets launched quickly. The sample shots were crisp. There was a lot of detail in the pictures taken in low light. The 13 megapixel front cameras with f/1.9 aperture present in both the handsets are fully capable of taking pictures with detail. However, we would like to say something in detail about the camera only after the review.

There is no doubt that the specifications of the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro smartphones are strong. The introduction of Samsung Pay has given the phone something new. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is priced at Rs 17,900 and Galaxy J7 Pro is available for Rs 20,900. These phones will be available at Samsung’s own e-commerce site in addition to offline stores. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max will go on sale from June 20. Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is said to be available by mid-July. At this price, both handsets will compete directly with handsets like Xiaomi Mi Max Prime, Moto G5 Plus and Honor 8 Lite.
