Commonwealth Parliamentary Association India: Himachal Pradesh has once again achieved a great achievement. Himachal Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has been made the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association India Region-2 Convenor. Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania has congratulated him on this.
Kuldeep Singh Pathania is a lawyer as well as a big leader. Kuldeep Singh Pathania has created a different image for himself as the Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Pathania contested assembly elections nine times
Kuldeep Singh Pathania was born on 17 September 1957 in Singhuta of Chamba district. His father’s name was Baldev Singh Pathania and mother’s name was Brahmi Devi. After completing his BSc from Himachal Pradesh University, Kuldeep Singh completed his law studies in Lucknow. After contesting his first election in 1985, he contested assembly elections a total of nine times.
He became the best parliamentarian in the year 1994
Kuldeep Singh Pathania has been struggling since his student life. In the year 1985, he was elected as a member of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time. After this, he was elected as MLA in the years 1993, 2003, 2007 and 2022. Kuldeep Singh Pathania, the current Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, has also been the Chairman of the State Finance Commission and the Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Pollution Control Board.
He was also given the Best Parliamentarian Award in the year 1994. He has represented the state along with the country in many big conferences and programs abroad.
