Himachal Cabinet Meeting: A cabinet meeting was held at the state secretariat in Shimla on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. In this meeting that lasted for about six hours, a decision was also taken to recruit on several posts. In this cabinet meeting, approval has been given to create six posts of different categories for the newly established DSP office Chuwari in district Chamba and 22 posts of different categories for the new police station Sihunta. In the meeting, it was decided to create and fill six posts of different categories in the new SDPO office opened in Indora of district Kangra.
Recruitment for 31 posts for Manikaran
The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved the creation and filling of six posts in the newly established police station at Bhoranj in Hamirpur district. The Cabinet has decided to create and fill 31 posts for the recently upgraded police station Manikaran in Kasol in Kullu district. Apart from this, the meeting decided to fill 116 posts of work inspectors through direct recruitment in the Jal Shakti Department. A decision was also taken to fill 25 posts of work inspectors in the Public Works Department. The meeting approved the filling of 21 posts of civil judges through direct recruitment.

The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet approved the opening of a block medical office in Jaisinghpur of Kangra district and creation and filling of necessary posts. In the meeting, it was decided to reorganize Pragpur, Nagarota Surian and Dehra development blocks for the convenience of the general public. In the meeting, approval was also given to fill 16 posts of different categories in the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department.
Recruitment in Public Works Department in Jawalamukhi
In the meeting of Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, it was decided to open a circle of Public Works Department in Dehra of Kangra district, a division of Public Works Department in Jawalamukhi along with creation and filling of 26 posts. Approval was given to open a division of Jal Shakti Department in Dharampur of Kasauli assembly constituency of Solan district and a new sub-division of Jal Shakti Department in Parwanoo along with creation of 17 posts. Approval was given to reorganize Gagret and Amb Electricity Divisions of Una district and open an Electricity Division in Haroli and it was decided to create and fill 13 posts of different categories.
