For the past few days, the heat has been showing a harsh attitude in Uttarakhand. From plains to mountains, the maximum temperature is being recorded to be five to six degrees above normal. On Monday also, record breaking heat was once again recorded in Doon. The maximum temperature of Doon was recorded at 40.4 degrees with an increase of five degrees above normal. Earlier in the year 2020, the temperature here on this day was 40.1 degrees.

Due to the increase in temperature, the heat wave caused a lot of trouble during the day as well as night. Especially the two-wheeler drivers and pedestrians had to face difficulties. On the other hand, according to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, the maximum temperature is likely to remain 40 degrees today (Tuesday) as well. Meteorologists say that due to the increase in temperature, heat wave is going on in the plains. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of getting relief from heat wave in the last days of May.
