Earlier, he had bowled brilliantly against Pakistan. Due to Arshdeep’s sharp bowling, former spinner Anil Kumble says that the Indian team should go with Arshdeep Singh in the Super 8. Kumble said that the Super 8 matches are to be played in the Windies, so Arshdeep Singh should be given preference in the playing XI instead of Mohammad Siraj.

If India opts to go with two fast bowlers and Hardik Pandya, then Arshdeep will also provide variety due to being a left-arm bowler.’
Mohammed Siraj has failed to make a mark
Arshdeep Singh has performed well for India in all three matches of the T20 World Cup so far. He has taken wickets at an economy of 6.2 and a strike rate of 10.28. In comparison, Siraj has taken only one wicket in 3 matches at a strike rate of 66. The Indian team has to face Canada in its last league match before the Super 8. This match will be played on June 15.
