Gurugram News Today: Gurugram Police has arrested four Nepali citizens on charges of beating up a ‘bouncer’ of a club here. Apart from this, the police has also arrested a 17-year-old teenager. Police gave this information on Friday (13 September).
In this regard, Gurugram Police said that the person who was beaten up has been identified as Manjeet Rathi (32) of Sonipat. In this case, the victim Manjeet Rathi has lodged a case with the police.
The bouncer in the club is the victim
According to the complaint of the victim Manjeet Rathi, on Thursday (12 September) at around 5 pm, when the club was about to close, he asked five youths to leave. This angered the accused youths and they beat him up. Manjeet Rathi works as a bouncer in that club.
What did the victim say in the complaint?
After this incident, the youth lodged a complaint against the accused with the police. Manjeet Rathi has stated in his complaint that “One of the accused abused and slapped me. His friends grabbed my hands and started beating me.”
In the complaint given to the police, the victim said, “A boy attacked me with a blade on my neck. After that all the boys fled from the spot and the club staff took me to the hospital.”
Case registered under BNS
According to the police, based on the complaint of Manjeet Rathi, an FIR was registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Police said that out of the four accused, Rohit, Sagar, Jeevan and Rohan (all from Nepal) have been arrested and a 17-year-old juvenile has also been apprehended.
Police said that after arresting the accused, they were produced in the court, from where the court sent all four to judicial custody. According to the police, another minor accused has got bail.
